Global Modulators - and Envelopes
-
So I can add an envelope (several different types as usual) to the Global Modulators.. nice, but...
Now I want to use this "Global Envelope" in (say) an filter frequency modulation...but I cant see how to attach it.
I can attach an Global LFO to my freq using the Global Time variant Modulator,
I can attach a Voice start modulator(like velocity) to my freq. using the Global Voice Start Modulator....
But despite being able to add an envelope into the Global Modulators, I cant see how I then reference it in the places I want to use it..
Any help?

@d-healey right then, damn... so I can add a table envelope to each of the voices I'm using, now how do I "share" the value of nodes in a table envelope?
-
@Lindon You can copy and paste tables using ctrl+c/v or you can place nodes through scripting.
-
@d-healey yeah thats what I mean I want to copy the nodes from one table into another...so there is one displayed table that the user interacts with and hte results are applied to all tables...
-
@Lindon I'll make an example
-
Oh how many tables do you need? because the number of tables will affect the method.Actually seems my first idea won't work, so I'll try another idea but it requires hidden UI elements. You've also just given me an idea for a feature request.

@d-healey - actually I think I can make do with the custom LFO with loop turned off... but I cant see the param name for turning loop ion and off in LFOs . any ideas?
nope got it: LoopEnabled

@Lindon said in Global Modulators - and Envelopes:
actually I think I can make do with the custom LFO
That's good because I can't figure out a way to do the other thing :p

@d-healey - yep works fine - Im basically looking of a way to do one shot LFO modulation - on a Global LFO modulator - and it was sitting there where (Im sure) everyone else has been using it all along... just I never tried fiddling with it...
