Click And Pop Sounds On Preset Change!!!
-
I Just Tried To Bypass The Shape FX With Browser's Next Prev Buttons , But Somehow The Pops Still Comes Throw.
Anyone Can Supply A Wait / Silence Code For A Few Milliseconds Would Be AppreciatedNOTE: The Simple Gain Method (-100) Wont Work Because There Is No Wait Statement In My Script

There is no wait statement in HISE... what method are you referring to?
What version of HISE are you using and what is the build date? I've some similar problems have been fixed in the scriptnode branch.

@d-healey Hello Dear David
I'm On 2.1 Build 650Actually The Problem Is Because Of The Bias Knobs.
I Used Them In A Couple Of My Presets , And When I Search throw The Presets As Soon As I Reach To Them The Pops And Click Appear.
Just A Small Click After Pressing The Next Or Prev Buttons.I Think The Solution Is To Turn Down The Gain For A Few Milliseconds And Go Back To Zero.
But Don't Know How To Achieve That -
@Natanr Use the timer callback.
-
@d-healey Sorry Mate , Dont Want To Bother , But Never Used That Function , And I'm Not Familiar With It :(
-
Now you have no excuse :p you will be an expert.
-
I Searched Entire Forum , And No Luck
Can't Figure Out How To Make A Button With Timer To Bypass The Engine For A Few Milliseconds :( -
Okey , I Have This Now :) It Works Like A Charm
Can Anyone Take A Look And Say Is This Can Make Any Problems Further?

But Still, The Clicks Come Throw By Changing The Presets :(
-
@Natan Hi mate, did you ever find a solution to this?
-
@DanH It Happens Here Because Of Some Effects.
Such As Bit Crusher, Reduce, Bias LR On Shape FX,
I Just Made Them Lower On My Plugin, It's Still there But Not very Persistent -
-
@DanH Thanks Buddy Sounds Great
-
-
@pelle I'm not sure I remember how although the noises were caused by the filters changing values and the ShapeFX changing waveshapes.... Do you have those in your project?
-
@pelle If these volume jumps occur on the scriptnode, you can try placing a gain node at the end of the network and then set its "ResetValue" parameter to -100.
-
@DanH Yes, I have a Shape Fx changing Waveshapes.
-
I've solved it setting the bias knobs of the Shape Fx to 0.0
