HISE for iOS/Android

I was thinking that it would be great to be able to use Hise on iOS and Android devices to prepare hise snippets when we are not at our computers. Then you would be able to export the snippet from the device and load it into your computer to put final touches on it and export it. I get that this is probably not a priority or even on your radar at all @Christoph-Hart, I just thought it was a fun idea and worth putting out there.

iOS support is already there. I don't think Android is going to be a possibility any time soon if ever.

@d-healey if you say ios - does that mean that we can prove to make a virtual sample based tool for iphone? does iphone have what android calls OTG reduction? Is it easy to connect to the iphone midi keyboard? if the answer to everything is yes, then it's wonderful and I see great potential in it. That's why I'm interested in mobile devices (phones) because everyone has them. And I'm here for those who don't know PC and Daw. Those who work from PC and DAW do not need me. Those who work from a PC and DAW have everything they need, but the community of musicians is much, much wider. Isn't our job for musicians? not for PC and DAW experts. Those who work musically in a DAW have endless possibilities. The musician who is a good musician but a bad PC user has nothing. He has to buy the Nord Stage for a lot of money. He has no other alternative. He has no other alternative. We can create NEW alternative together

pc standalone, iphone app (if possible) is a hole we can fill. I don't care if it makes money or not. A mission is a mission.

But I believe that the open source GPL will also give me a solution to how to buy bread and pay rent for an apartment. Just as he gave me a solution for everything all my life - open source

Distributing GPL apps on Apple's app store is a grey area. Apple impose restrictions on apps they distribute and these violate the GPL so I think you have to dual license them, not sure though as I've never done it and haven't looked into it deeply.
