"Write Automation mode" doesn't work in exported AU plugins

The "Read Automation" mode works but "Write Automation mode" doesn't work in all of the exported AU plugins. Only on AU plugins, VST and AAX plugins are fine.

One of the testers sent this video.

Does anyone having this issue?

I also noticed some AU-only issues with a couple other things.

• The GR meter script for the dynamics module shows full deflection at initialization. Meter doesn't react until you run audio thru it.
• In Garage Band, user presets don't get extracted to the user's folder. (Also true with the "simple copy protection" authorization).

These don't appear to happen in VST or AAX
