Intel Performance Primitives has just had an update and now integrates with VS26 and since Microsoft has removed the community download link for VS22 I think 2026 should be the new default version for HISE.

Might also be a good idea if HISE could handle the situation where the user has the pro version of VS instead of the community edition.

Once this change is implemented I'll update the bootcamp... again :)

@David-Healey oh god I hope they don‘t force you Copilot down the throat like they did with anything else from Microslop.

But yes HISE 5 would be a good point to switch.
