Need Help Exporting Mac Version of a VST3

im on windows and i cant export a vst3 for mac only windows with visualstudio22 and I need someone to help export it for me on their mac when send the project to them

I think they mean they dont have a mac....

@duma - you will need a mac or a virtual machine that runs a MacOS...

@duma You need to be able to do it yourself for two main reasons:

So you can test and debug it on MacOS
You'll need to codesign and notarize it using your own developer credentials before you can send it to other people.

@duma You need a Mac or a virtual machine - I use a VM. You'll also need to sign up with Apple for a developer account.

Once you're all setup you'll be able to codesign and notarize your plugins/installers. There's a guide on KVR about this: https://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=531663

If you want to release plugins for other people to use on Mac then yes.
