You may ask which kind of plugin it would be.
Well, it could be anything.

And it wouldn't be the best start point
if I would say what we could do.

But to show what I could do..

-Scripting, English grammar (Should be no problem for communication)

Hey guys! I came here to see if you are up to date.
I tried to use it to generate some code snippets that I could use to learn from and to make a simple or a bit more complex plugin. I still have to tweak the code to work correctly. But at least I did manage to get code that compiled without errors. It feels like a door opener for guys like me to learn coding. And I don't mean copy paste only :D The fact it gives you an explanation for what it did or what you can do is really nice. Will keep an eye on what you do with that.

Hi, Hise community!

This is the first time I talk to you, because I found almost anything answered in this forum.
Now I've got some questions...
But I will keep it simple:

1. VSTi with an audio loop player and no sampler with embedded sounds
   but "library" folder for audiofiles and userpresets at user specified location?
   I would like to use my regular "library" folder on external SSD where all of my VST libraries are.

2. Seperate folder for convolution wav files?

3. Why no custom settings option to simply select a library path?
   A installer could predefine the library path. But users shouldn't need the installer for selecting it.
   (Maybe I know why there is no option. It just would be nice to have it there.)

4. Are those audiofiles and userpresets in appdata folders
   because they are streamed and temporary or something?

After saving a preset, it does remember the audiofiles - no matter where they are stored.
What a powerful function.

5. Should I be careful with making a VSTi where users can make their own libraries?
   Or is this more critical if they can share presets with no royalty free sounds, no recorded sounds etc?
   Am I responsible for this or can I say the users are responsible for what they are doing with the VSTi?

6. With right click on the loop player it opens the appdata folder.
   The audio waveform is titled {PROJECT_FOLDER}"title".wav
   I guess there must be a way for editing the location. Am I right?

(You might use only impulse responses and stuff as audiofiles.
Using embedded files is no option in this case.)

Maybe you can tell me how to achieve this?! ;)

@natan You say it sounds cheap to you. But what if I make pay-what-you-want software with a $ 1000+ button? :P

To me it is free promo. Just imagine someone does see a link to a pirated version and he goes to your site to buy it because of trust etc.
What do you think about donationware as solution? I think any digital product should be donationware but maybe it's not the best way.

@MikeB Imagine 3840 × 2160 for standalone. It might feel great.
But the synth is not experimental enough to spend hours with sound design.
And I like plugins with less RAM usage.
So 4K with a fullscreen mode etc wouldn't be practicable with this synth.

I will add more skins to it at the end. 1900x900 GUI image is 1.,33mb
