Is there a strong interest in a top-to-bottom tutorial for this?

We have this one - https://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=531663

I think the only thing missing is how to sign up for a developer account, get your credentials, and add them to the system keychain.

Some of this was covered recently - https://forum.hise.audio/topic/9178/codesign-error-on-mac-what-am-i-missing?_=1710278448873

@d-healey Sure - if that does it for everyone, then all good.

Never hurts to explain the same thing in a different way. Another approach might resonate with someone more clearly.

@d-healey I'll see if there's real interest. I was thinking about doing a a deep-dive for folks, since there's so many variables and such.

I would say yes. Compared to KVR, yours can be HISE centric and include any info that devs here would or should want to know. It can also be pinned as an important topic, edited and contributed to as new findings surface or as the Apple situation develops.

This comes up really often so I would definitely say that yes, a detailed, up to date deep dive would be appreciated by everyone using this.

@aaronventure said in Interest in a macOS Code Signing, Notorising and Installer Tutorial?:

It can also be pinned as an important topic,

Might be good to slip it into the HISE docs too.
