Container with parallel effects
-
Hi, one more noob question as i really cant find the solution. I simply want to have an Audio Input signal which then is routed in two different convolution reverbs. I then want to mix both reverbs together into one signal. My problem is, how do i approach this. I know that there used to be a way to route the signal, but i am a bit lost here.
Thank you for your help

Thank you so much. One stupid question though. I cant get the routung matrix to show my more than 2 channels like in your project. Do you have any idea why that might be ?
-
@Ben-Catman define the number of channels in the project - so click on the stereo pair in the top level and get to here:
Perhaps reading thru the documentation on the structure and layout of this stuff might help you.

Thank you again, yes, i did try to read through it, but in the section "routing matrix", there is no entry :(
-
agreed there's not much documentation...and its not easily found - hopefully the above will help you thru..
-
A little bit of documentation is hidden in the forum - https://forum.hise.audio/topic/76/adding-send-fx
-
@d-healey yeah some smart**se said this in that thread:
"it might be useful to put these (working) examples in the documentation area?"

Well, my problem still exists, i did the above, but ich have no option to change the channel amount ? Very strange ?
@d-healey btw thank you for your very informative tutorials!!
-
@Ben-Catman no you select the channels in the top container of your module....not in the routing matrix, so in this example:
you click on the two grey bars to the left of the text "thruZeroLFOV2" - you are setting the number of channels for your plugin - not for a single FX
-
oh my god, i get it! Now thats embarassing. Thank you so much!!
