UI Desigin--- step 1

OK well I've started to do some HISE work and as a first step i wanted to build a UI., and I'm clearly doing something wrong....
I'm using HISE 1.5 Build 650
I'm in the Interface Designer
I created an interface 635 x 620
I created a button, resized it to be 635 x 600 and placed it at 0,0
I renamed the button mixer_background
I defined a filmstrip image to use in the button and set the numStrips = 1

--- but i cant get the image to show up in the designer - I'm still looking at the default button "look", what (simple thing hopefully) am I doing wrong?

@lindon Set number of strips to 2. Why are you using a button as a background image?

thanks.. yeah did that and of course it would then only display 1/2 of my image. It seems buttons are not good background image holder candidates and sliders work better...

...or, just use an image.... learning learning.
