hello, I would like to know if in hise it is possible to create a stereo effect. from a mono sample and perhaps using a delay, spread the signal from right to left. basically like a stereo enhancer in fl studio. a simple rotary knob will remove the signal + or - quickly.
I have already tried to do it with a delay by separating upstream L and R but the rendering is really not good ^^

@yall You can use Scriptnode's MS Encode/Decode nodes to split the audio into Mid/Side, then use gains on each channel to adjust how "wide" the sound is perceived, this is how most Stereo Wideners work: they turn the mid channel down in volume

You're already on the right track with the delay, try running that through the above scriptnode and see if it sounds better, make sure not to delay the signal by more than 14(ish) miliseconds

If you just delay one channel with a static delay, you're effectively only using a Haas panner. If you want to create a stereo signal out of a mono signal you need to create a very subtle chorus effect that modulates the delay along with other tricks.

@Christoph-Hart I'll try but with a chorus I'm afraid I can't adjust the L&R spacing precisely. if you have the opportunity to try fl studio. there is the stereo enhancer which really allows you to start from a mono signal and give it a delay ranging from 1ms to 0.5 seconds .. this is not really a stereo but gives the impression of stereo.
if I remember correctly, the delay in hise was broken in full wet once the plugin was compiled. I don't know if it has been fixed

@yall No idea what FL Studio does, but I'm guessing that the delay parameter marks the maximum msodulation value.
