MIDI learn a button on CC64 breaks the note sustain pedal normal behaviour

So when i assign MIDI CC64 to a button the - Sustained Notes on pedal press - normal behaviour of the instrument breaks. Is there a way to have both - activate button and normal sustained notes function together?
