CTRL + Backspace Shortcut
-
This shortcut is universally used to delete the last full word that was written. At some point last year HISE introduced a new shortcut that replaces that standard with a goto statement. I catch myself multiple times a day hitting that shortcut and its driving me crazy. This makes editing code painful since i need to delete e-v-e-r-y single character manually. Is there any way that we can get the CTRL + Backspace to delete the full word? I think its bad practice to reassign shortcuts that are the default for so many years with a niche feature. I believe Christoph is using Mac where the default shortcut for deleting the last word is actually ALT + Backspace but for the rest of the world it is CTRL + Backspace.

@oskarsh File > Edit shortcuts might do it

@d-healey I already removed the goto shortcut, however the default behavior is still gone :(

I also notice another missing shortcut. Ctrl + shift + up cursorStrangely it still works with down cursor.

@d-healey Are you using the latest commit? Its working here for me.
-
@oskarsh Yes but I'm using Linux where HISE shortcuts have been weird for ages.
-
@d-healey I am using Linux as well. I was not even aware that this is a viable shortcut!
-
@oskarsh Does ctrl+D work for you in the interface designer to duplicate controls?
-
@d-healey Nope this shortcut is not working for me
