Dalle 2 for product images/art

Yeah so this is pretty insane, OpenAI is rolling out beta invites for Dalle 2, and you can make all sorts of realistic (or painterly) images for products now...

Just type a prompt like "photo of a taiko drum in a recording studio" & add a title over it

It can also do artsy ones:

needless to say I'm very excited that I don't have to do it myself anymore :)

@iamlamprey very cool! How is it with licensing? Can you use these images commercially for a product? I suppose you can. Thanks for dropping it here.

@UrsBollhalder as long as it's not for anything that breaches their terms of use (nudity/violence/gore/real people etc), they're very lenient :)

In fact you could also just make 500 "photos" of New York, then license them to a stock image website, which is pretty hilarious

@iamlamprey Yeah. That’s just crazy. AI is challenging that status quo as well. Interesting to see what’ll happen on the copyright front!
