I have a HISE project folder on my main computer. I share this folder on my local network and on Windows I point Visual Studio to the folder and build my project. Everything works.

When I do the same on MacOS Xcode will build the project but the resulting binary can't be opened, I get a message about it being damaged. I tried the usual trick of changing the file permissions via the terminal but this didn't solve it for me.

      Any ideas?

I believe it's a folder permissions issue. I face a similar issue here. My projects are stored on a NAS and I have to compile/sign/notarize the MAC binary locally.
I've been so busy I haven't had a chance to sort it out. 😕

@d-healey Yes, it is permissions-issue. Windows, for example, is not able to store certain permissions that Mac requires due to the type of disc drive formating.

What you need to do is after compiling the plugins on your main computer, copy them over to your Mac and set the correct permissions for them using a command line.
            Then, they will work perfectly.

I set the correct permissions of all files and folders within the main folder on Mac where i copy my plugins into.
            This works 100%.

The only way you would perhaps be able to set the correct permissions on your main computer without copying the files over is if the disc drive of your main computer was formatted like Mac. I can't remember what the formatting was.

@gorangrooves I copy the files over currently, that's how I'm building on Mac, I haven't needed to change any permissions though.

@d-healey That's interesting and good. I have to do it on mine.
