last time I looked (and I havent looked properly for a while) at scriptnode there was no pitch shifting capabilities - I assume this is still true - I have a client asking about an guitar effects pedal with octave doubling capabilities...am I right?

@Lindon This is for an audio effect plugin? I believe you can pitch shift with scriptnode - https://github.com/christophhart/hise_tutorial/tree/master/PitchShifting

At the moment I dont think there are any ways to pitch shift other than by using Karplus delay time method (which is what is used in Christophs example pitch shifter).

You could maybe try using the sampler node have script it so that it only triggers +1 oct above the triggered note.

thanks - but this is a real-time effect not a sampler....

yes well Christoph wasn't kidding when he says:

"The sound quality of the pitch shifting algorithm is orders of magnitudes worse than the current industry standard,...."
