      Hello,

So Im testing some of my plugins and for some reason get an "error extracting samples" message when trying to import samples via hr1 in my DAW.

The weird part is, I cant extract the samples to any chosen foldr EXCEPT the desktop. If I extract samples to desktop, it works perfect. But if I try to extract samples to any other location on my PC, it gives me error.

I have extracted samples before in other locations with no issues. I have checked and deleted all AppData info as well for the plugin.

Anybody else ever come across this?

@trillbilly Does it work in the standalone? If so try a different DAW.

@d-healey I am using the HISE standalone, is this what you mean?

I will try another DAW. I have used Ableton for this before, the same plugin actually, and it worked fine. Just now that I have removed app data and created installers I come across this issue.

I mean compile your project as a standalone app instead of a plugin. Testing stuff in a DAW initially is a bad idea because the DAW can be the issue, testing in the standalone rules that out. Once you have it working in standalone then you can test in a DAW and you know that any issues that appear are due to it being a plugin and possible due to the particular DAW.

@d-healey I compiled a standalone which seemed to work. When I try to open the application, it does nothing. I'll be back tomorrow fir another go.

One of my users had to run Ableton as an administrator to get hr installation working
