No idea through the OS. Go to Intel's website and check the specs for your CPU

What are your system specs for both machines?

You should change your thread title to worse computer performs worse :p

The Windows machine has twice as many threads, twice as much cache, and the clock speed is higher.

Or you could run Windows as a virtual machine on your Mac and then both your compiles will run at the same speed :p

indeed the mac is less powerful, maybe there is an option to optimize all this with processor core settings no? I do not really know . however when i put a music project on mac it goes as fast as windows. when i was under high sierra it was slow but much less.

Nah, get one of those M1 Pro / Max machines, the Intel MacBooks have the value of roadkill since the ARM ones came out.

Intel Mac is still good if you want to use a single machine for all of your compiling for different operating systems.
