Content.addScriptedViewport()
is apparently not a function... butContent.addViewport()
is, I think the api/docs need updating.- Double clicking an item in the API browser doesn't add the function to the script as it used to.
Never mind, this is the answer.setPropertiesFromJSON()
Also not a function.
What does this button do?

@Christoph-Hart New Layout == 🥳🤯

What does this button do?
It enables the script component learn mode. Enable it, then click on any control on your interface, then move any parameter in the backend module (just like the macro learn mode) and it will create a parameter connection (including copying all relevant properties from the original control). I'm not sure why it took me so long to implement this, but it makes the process of hooking up controls much much easier.
-
@Christoph-Hart Perfect, and it's still 1 to 1 just like parameter/processor ID?
-
yes, it just fills in the properties as if you would do it manually (so you can undo it).
-
Also changing sample maps resets the channel count on my system from 16 to 2...
-
@UrsBollhalder I'm not having that issue here. What are the steps to recreate it?
-
Have you called this?
https://docs.hise.audio/scripting/scripting-api/sampler/index.html#setusestaticmatrix
-
@Christoph-Hart No. I guess I should?!
-
@d-healey I am working on a monster project… I’ll try and see if I can isolate it…

It might seem weird, but that's about it...
The Sampler1 module is set to 16 channels... After I change the sample map via combobox, it sets it back to 2 channels...
-

It adjusts to the number of channels in the sample map.
-
@d-healey Number of channels in the sample map???? Since when do sample maps have channels?!? I am sure you are right, but where can I set the channels for these? Or do I need multichannel files to get the sampler to keep the channels on change??
In the meantime, I used the by @Christoph-Hart suggested setUseStaticMatrix to true and voila! So I guess this is error on my part and expected HISE behaviour?

Ok... Thx! Somehow this never really came up so far... But it makes total sense now that I think of it! Because I never had the sampler set to multichannels... that's why... Sorry for the false alarm!
-
added zero-crossing mode
Tell me more... :)
-
If you click on the waveform to change the ranges (which range you want to change can be set with the P/S/L buttons), then this will search the next zero crossing in order to minimize clicks.

@d-healey how?
