Problem Knob Range
-
If I have a knob for Frequency or Time, the range of values is from 1-20.000. This has the consequence that the knob can hardly be finely adjusted with the mouse. A movement with the mouse by 1 pixel already causes a value jump from 20Hz to 43Hz.
The setting "mouseSensitivity" also brings no improvement. No matter whether it is set to 0.01 or 1000, nothing changes.
As in many software programmes, it would be nice to be able to refine the setting options with the mouse by pressing, for example, the option key or the shift key.
If I press the shift key and move the mouse, the value range is divided by 10 or 100 and I can set very precise values.
Does anyone have the same problems? and is there perhaps a solution or workaround?

So what's the problem?

@d-healey That this is not the case in HISE! - that is the problem

Oh there's a bug. It used to work. Although it does work if you hold ctrl and you're already moving the knob.
@Christoph-Hart Holding shift now activates the text input box even if show text box is disabled.

upps

on Mac with option - it works

on Mac it works on shift and klick - but It is not practicable with some values.
For example, 2.3 kHz is displayed - if I enter 200 now
Nothing happens. If I enter 1.5, it jumps to 1.5.
