I know we have the preview when we move the mouse over it but is the minimap supposed to be empty?

Also could we have a setting to make the minimap thinner. On my non-superwide screen it takes up quite a bit of useful code editor space, especially when I have the interface designer open as well.

Fixed. You can now switch to a smaller version using the context menu of the mini map. And this (and the line break settings) are persistent (for each editor) now.

This is a great improvement but it has to be redone for every callback or file selected from the dropdown. Could you add a setting in preferences to enable/disable it globally for all editors/callbacks/projects/files/etc?

I also think the show whitespaces should be disabled by default - but maybe I'm a minority here.

If you close HISE and reopen it, it will store the settings, then next time you open HISE is should use them also if you switch callbacks.

@Christoph-Hart Yep that works for callbacks, doesn't work for included files though.
