There is laggy and slow GUI element performance issue on some mac's (especially with Radeon GPU) with major DAWs like Logic Pro X, Cubase...etc.

      Here is the solution:

Change display color settings to "sRGB IEC61966-2.1"

      That solves the issue :)

@orange Excellent find! I have a couple systems that only improved slightly with OpenGL, so hopefully this will be the solution.

Thanks for the info - I read that too and used it successfully - even with NIVIDIA cards.
There are some PlugIns that immediately responded to this and now run smoothly again.
            Is already crazy :-)

Hey @orange, thanks for forwarding over this info mate.
                Quick question...

Are you asking customers to make these changes to get your plugins running smoothly on a Mac?

I'm trying to think of the most user friendly way to overcome these gui perfomance issues on a Mac. Logic Pro X seems to be the worst of them all from what I've seen :upside-down_face:

                Cheers

If you mean solving the issue without changing Display Color Settings, I don't think any way without modifying code ocean of Hise.
