How to create own SAW Osc or Single Cycle waveform
-
@Tania-Ghosh - load it into a sampler at the root note, spread it across your keyboard, enable loop playback set the loop start at the start of the file, set the loop end at the end of the file.
Wow, $19.99 for 35 single-cycle audio files - I'm in the wrong end of the business.....
What I really like is their text says:
"35 Custom Saw Pluck Wave Shapes from RDGAudio for FL Studio’s 3x OSC,Sytrus and...etc"
the word "Saw" is a link to the sound of someone chopping up wood - hilarious...

@Lindon No, It is 75% Off. The discount code is Off75Percent
Anyway, Single Cycle waveform not working in HISE. All most noise. -
You could try manually looping it in a DAW so the sample is longer, then importing that into HISE, I did a similar thing on a physmod violin test
-
@Tania-Ghosh I made it work with my own single cycle sample. It should work fine. Send me the sample / project
-
-
@Tania-Ghosh Just looking at it quickly the wave file looks far too big to be a useable single cycle. I think there's a big problem with the audio file basically
-
It is a 1 second cycle sampled at 44100Hz which means a 1Hz signal -> blop... blop... blop...
I have no idea what to do with this in Hise though -
@DanH OK...I will be sending another Single Cycle waveforms to you...
-
@DanH here is another Single Cycle waveform..SCW v2.zip
-
@Tania-Ghosh Yeah I don't know how you would use these files succesfully - maybe ask the retailer how they are supposed to be used. They look wrong to me!
-
if you go to your retailers web site (your link above) and look for the text:
This saw Waveforms are Single cycle.
- you will see that the text "Single Cycle" actually points at Adventure Kid's web site - where you can download a massive set of free single cycle wave forms that work perfectly in HISE...
-
@Lindon Wow... Thank you.. :)
-
@Tania-Ghosh Here is your Saw G31 Single Cycle waveform. @DanH Now it should work in HISE. SingleCycle.zip
Cheers !!
-
@Tania-Ghosh I remember I did a single cicle loop (me singing sine, saw. And triangle sound. A rare experiment LOL) will try to find the project
-
@Rudra-Ghosh Great.. thanks ! :)
