Weird bug about adding new Samplemaps to existing project
-
Hi,
I have found a weird bug about Samplemaps: Every time I tried to add new Samplemaps and delete older ones inside of an existing project, every time I am exporting samples for the installer, the older samplemaps are still getting pushed inside of the .hr1 file.
Even if the .xml file inside "SampleMaps" and the .ch1 file inside "Samples" are nowhere to find, the project still include it in the .hr1 files, and it creates a bug when I'm trying to import them into the compiled VST/App.
Does anybody have this problem too?
The only workaround I found was to create a whole new project every time. Thanks for the help!

Might need to delete pooled resources and intermediate build files before exporting.

Delete pooled resources ?
Is there a tool in Hise to do it? -
No tool for Pooled Resources, just delete the folder from the project folder.
Could also run the clean build directory action before compiling as well

@d-healey
i tried it today but sadly, it didn't worked out :/.When I export the Samplers, I still see older Samplemaps being compressed for the Installer.

@Alex-Paradis are the old sample maps still in the sample maps folder, Even though you don't use them?

The samplemaps are not included in the .hr1 file, it just takes all monolith samples it can find and compresses them:
Make sure you don't have old .ch1 files lying around (or move them outside the Samples folder).
The pooled samplemaps should be recreated each time you export the plugin, unless you set this:
https://docs.hise.audio/working-with-hise/settings/development.html#rebuild-pool-files
to false (by default it should be enabled).
