        @LeeC open node editor, drop sample to file_player node and use first knob :)

                  This is a ridiculous issue, but I can't see this in my scripting workspace.

                  I haven't seen that side bar with the API, folder etc in quite some time and have no idea how to get it back? Resetting the workspace didn't do anything so I am at a bit of a loss.
                  How can I get it back please?

                      @d-healey that makes sense as I originally had 2.1 installed and now have 3. something installed.

                      How can I access the nodes from the newer version then please?

                        @rzrsharpeprod Add a script effect to the module tree and click the little expand button at the right of it.

                          @d-healey thankyou. I have figured it out now and got the sound playing with a gain slider so it's doing what I want it to.
