DAW linked channels != FX plugin linked parameters

if you duplicate a track with an FX plugin and then link the channels in your DAW, the parameters on the plugins do not link.

HISE FX plugin
Parameters don't link

Cubase stock plugin
Parameters link

I only tested in Cubase and Protools, but I suspect its the same for other DAWS as well. Has anyone else experienced this?
