Try something else. HISE looks for msbuild at this location:

          C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio\2017\Community\MSBuild\15.0\Bin\MsBuild.exe\

Please check if you have that directory and if the file exists there. If not, please make sure that you've ticked the msbuild box in the VS installer.

Lol why do you have VS Professional? You need the Community Edition ;)

Actually we should get this to work without reinstalling VS2017.you've come so far, it would be unfair :)

So let's start with the most stupid solution, maybe we get off this one the most laziest way. Just go into C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio\2017\ where you should have a Professional folder. Now just duplicate it and rename it to Community, then retry the export process. However it is extremely important that you tell no one I actually gave that advice :)

ok, so I did reinstal the VS 2017 Professional to the Community version, but I still can not export. Is there anything else I could do? (I have like a week for the whole plugin to be made, so I really need it done) thanks ♥
