VSTi Partial Cycle Automation

@Christoph-Hart I was using one of my HISE built plugins in Ardour. Everything was working well until I added some automation data, then I started getting little clicks and pops.

So I go in touch with the Ardour devs and they said there is basically a bug in Ardour that affects some plugins. Currently there is no workaround on their side of things but the issue will be fixed in an upcoming release. In the meantime I wondered if there was anything that could be done on the HISE side.

I don't understand the issue but this is what they told me

ardour splits the process cycle on automation events. e.g. process 47 samples, change VST parmater, process 209 samples (total 256)
BUT, ardour 5.12 sends MIDI events for the whole cycle 0..255 at the start.

Does this mean anything to you?
