No Chance To Build Hise From Source Code :) [Solved]
Hello dear david and thanks for your reply
i downloaded the hise 2.0.0 , result is same
looks like no glory
2.1.0 is the latest release, I'm not sure why 2.0.0 is marked as the latest though - https://github.com/christophhart/HISE/releases/tag/2.1.0.
This line tells you what the problem is
1>c:\users\nrezaei\desktop\hise-2.0.0\hise-2.0.0\juce\modules\juce_audio_devices\juce_audio_devices.cpp(117): fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'iasiodrv.h': No such file or directory (compiling source file ..\..\JuceLibraryCode\include_juce_audio_devices.cpp)
Something is wrong with the ASIO SDK location.
Here Is the sdk folder . is anything looks wrong?
@Natan-Rezaei No, it should be ASIOSDK2.3
Thank you Dear david , and how about the rest of files?
all good with names?
Thank you dear david , still no success.
vs stucked at somewhere in build and after that my cpu turned to 100% .
any chance you can supply your hise folder with sdk files?
thank you sir
@Natan-Rezaei Mine is exactly the same as github so I don't think that will solve the problem. You need to post the errors you are getting. Did you download the ASIO SDK from the link provided by Christoph on github?
Not sure which one , but i found it on github.
@Natan-Rezaei Go to this page - https://github.com/christophhart/HISE#how-to-compile-hise, there is a link to the correct version of both the ASIO and VST2 SDK. Use those and follow the rest of the instructions and see if you progress any further.

Or just extract the zip that is in there. The password for it is not 1234, but the other way around.

@d-healey its actually pointing at the VST3 SDK now....
@Lindon Ah I didn't know that.

Thank you dear Christoph, david and lindon
I just extracted sdk.zip
then started a new build ,
but some where in build my cpu turned to max 100% again , and stoped the process.
i still see some warnings in the code
please take a look : https://paste.ubuntu.com/p/4XhyJsHr4n/
i tried to build hise 2.1.0
hi core ipp > disabled
any idea ?
I've never seen this message before, but there's ya problem
MSBUILD : error MSB4166: Child node "2" exited prematurely. Shutting down. Diagnostic information may be found in files in "C:\Users\nrezaei\AppData\Local\Temp\" and will be named MSBuild_*.failure.txt. This location can be changed by setting the MSBUILDDEBUGPATH environment variable to a different directory.

Hello again dear david.
i force closed the visual studio , that message is becuase of that.
Well there are no other errors. Are you sure the process stopped?
yeah i closed the the process by my own , becuase of strange cpu Usage 100%
is that cpu spike normal?
@Natan-Rezaei 100% CPU is good, it means it will complete faster
There might be a setting in visual studio to limit the CPU usage, I haven't ever noticed an issue though so I've never looked for such a setting.
And one more question , only setting i need to change is
Debug > Release
And from drop down menu BUILD > Build hise standalone?
And while the cpu is maximized , i dont need to be worry because that is normal?
"thanks in advance dear david"
