After struggling big time with all combos of compiling issues, a friend helped me out and I ended up succeeding compiling with the release version download from the website and Xcode 16.0.

Is I recommendable to compile with the latest source code and what Xcode versions on Mac Sequoia 15.6.1 are people succeeding doing it with?

@inlandempire Always use the latest passing commit from the develop branch.

You can tell if a commit is passing (the automated tests) by look for the green check icon next to it.

I'm on macOS Sequoia 15.7.3 and Xcode 26.1.1 - no problems.

Compiles HISE in about 30 seconds on my 32GB M4 MacBook Air.
