BG Image missing on all plugin exports with hise 2?

i had been working on a few plugins about a year ago. and when i export with the updated hise everything compiles to vst with no background images. it shows up in hise standalone and plugin. but not in compiled vsts. it doesnt seem to be making any noise either. does this have something to do with copy protection? it really sucks that things have changedd so much that my 6 months of work no longer works

Let me guess- your background image was in jpeg format?
Don't panic. Convert it to PNG and it will magically re-appear

Yeah, it's most likely not a png image.
