      Hi guys, working on a spectral modeled nylon guitar. pure Hise, no samples involved. Just a sketch but want to know your opinion about timbre

        The bottom notes sound remarkably nice, but the higher notes are a bit too metallic. Also the attack phase needs to be a bit softer, but interesting sound.

          @hisefilo It would be hard task to make it sound close to real. But I think you can make a physical modeling synthesizer with Hise anyway. Have you tried Logic's Sculpture synth?

          Also this is a good reference;

          develop Branch / XCode 13.1
          macOS Monterey / M1 Max

            @Christoph-Hart thanks man! Yes is just a sketch but I think has potential.

            Lower notes are the hardest due the huge amount of overtones

              @orange funny! Watched the Martin video today:)

              Not a big fan of physical modeling for guitars. Tried csound and cabbage. Karplus strong based modeling sounds good but can't find a warm realistic timbre yet. Also tryied modalys from ircam.

              Spectral modeling is much more accurated in my opinion, but articulation is harder
