@It_Used actually the most versatile option is to build the content download and install into the plugin....so you only ever ship the plugin - and once it starts it checks for the content and if its not present it starts a download/install process(where you can offer the user the option on what they do and dont want to install...).
We do this for all our (sample based) plugins these days

@Lindon problem has solved. idk where store 500Gb+ of data. No cloud service is ready to give away so much space, and I don't have the resources to build my own dedicated server, my Internet is so-so.

Bunny is good, Amazon S3 also but more expensive

@d-healey yeah, i think to use torrent. data spread is scaled, by number of interested users (peers).

@It_Used Is this for a commercial library?

Not true, I use pCloud(https://www.pcloud.com/) , £96/year for 2TB with unlimited downloads....

@d-healey no, no, do you remember the stream where I told you about my projects back then based on Kontakt?
-
@It_Used Oh you're the piano guy?
-
@Lindon I think it's better not to spend money on something that you'll end up giving away. This means that such an infrastructure is likely to be redundant, and I live in Russia, which means I'm sure I'll have problems accessing foreign services.

@d-healey yeah
