The git commit hash of the hise build doesn't match the source code hash
-
Hi, I’m a new HISE user. I’ve just finished working on my instrument, but when I try to export my VST, I get the following error: “The git commit hash of the HISE build doesn't match the source code hash.”
Here is my HISE version, the commit hash, and the full error message:
-
@Oriah-Beats Have you built HISE from source?
-
@Oriah-Beats @d-healey yes I have, using the tutorial you put on your YouTube charnel.. I managed to export one project. then I worked on another one but when I try to export it gives me this error
-
@Oriah-Beats How many copies of the HISE source code, and of HISE do you have on your system?
-
@Oriah-Beats I have 1 only
-
@Oriah-Beats Does the commit hash you see in HISE match the commit hash of the source code you downloaded and built that version of HISE from?
-
@d-healey no it does not
-
@Oriah-Beats So you need to delete the version of HISE you have - the binary. And rebuild from the source code you have. Then they will match and you won't get that message.

@Oriah-Beats let me do it thank you
