Minimum System Requirements

Hello friends,
Out of curiosity, what would be the minimum system requirements of a plugin developed in Hise 4.1.0 for both Windows & Mac OS?
I am curious about OS, CPU and chip compatibilities for both Windows & Mac.
I know for a fact that my plugin works on Mac m2 but unsure if it does on m1, m3 or the intel versions for instance.
Any software out there that checks these? Or is it simply a matter of testing it on different laptops?

Well, compiled I'm sure theres a minimum but I don't know it. It's possible to make fairly efficient Hise Vsts, so I'd say the minimum is very low.
However it will depend more greatly on what your specific Hise plugin does... -

@d-healey @griffinboy Thank you for your time & answers both, very kind.
I wasn't worried about performance but compatibility really. It's a very simple plugin.
As an example:
Windows
CPU: Intel i5 or above (Safe to assume this?)
macOS
OS: Have no idea which from which OS versions onwards it works on. Works on the most recent OS, but how back compatible?
CPU: It works on my M2 but no idea as to M1,M3,M4 or intel versions.
Any software that tests these compatibilities? Or a matter of manual testing on these machines with the specs?
Or can we deduce certain specs, knowing the version of Hise it was made on, 4.1.0
Really appreciate any answers.

That's like saying BMW 3 Series. Which generation, which year? Last year's i5 and the one from 12 years ago are not in the in the same solar system performance-wise, but they're both an i5.
It should run on Intels even older than that, if they can run Win 7 and can run other VST3 plugins, it'll be fine. But if someone is still kicking a 12 year old CPU in this day and age, they're not in the market for new plugins.
It will also run on all M series Macs, as well as Intel ones. The minimum OS is 10.7 as per the readme.
If you need to guarantee compatibility, you'll have to get an older intel Mac, an older Intel PC and do some testing. These shouldn't be very expensive these days.
