This is great! I really like the GUI design, amazing work!

Thanks for the examples guys, it really helps to understand what can be achieved with Hise.

Thank you, @remarkablex did the GUI.

Only one plugin (Dark Wolf Guitar Amp - was made with Flowstone, since it only supports Win 32 bit) But all of the other plugins, Palmary Collection (10 plugins) was made with HISE.

HISE is very strong, flexible and capable of almost everything, just most of the people doesn't recognized it yet.

        develop Branch / XCode 13.1
        macOS Monterey / M1 Max

Maybe if HISE was mentioned on noiseash.com more people would appreciate it ;)

I have made already :) I am updating Palmary Collection plugins right now, and I am putting "Made with HISE" label in the about page and link to HISE web site. Also this label will be all of my new forthcoming plugins too ;) Also I am suggesting HISE so much on other developing forum, social media platforms like Flowstone.

Good to know, I thought it was made with SynthEdit for some reasons. The GUI of DarkWolf is really well done too.

For the devs who have released plugins made with Hise. Would you say they are stable? How has been the user feedback? I'm a bit uncertain about investing time in Hise because of the problems people had with Hexeract. On the other hand, Electrix by Sampleson works very well in FL Studio 20. So the bugs could be related to the complexity of the plugin? Any idea?

Well, the amount of bugs that HEXERACT had at the beginning are completely within the range of what you can expect if you launch the first big project with a new platform (and just because there were 2-3 dudes screaming around on KVR doesn't mean that the majority of people had issues, I would say in total there was a bug report ratio of 1%-2% of the customers, most of them were stuff like "my audio interface doesn't work").

Most issues are sorted out by now, but yes, the complexity definitely plays a role here: In HEXERACT I am reloading modulators on the fly when you drag cables, which must be done on a separate thread - this is the most critical event.

Also, FL Studio is a terrible host and I explicitely had to write at least 10 workarounds at different places to deal with their shitty handling of audio buffers.

@SampleScience Mine have been rock solid, I send them to a group of testers who use different OS and DAWs and give them a couple of weeks to play with it before I release.

I can relate to that, I get about the same ratio with my SampleScience plugins.

So far I've read the documentation and watched all the videos covering Hise on YouTube. I really like the way it works.

What I'm trying to gauge is the type of project I can realistically complete with Hise within a reasonable amount of time (which includes debugging). Hence my questions on the forum.

I guess that the developer behind the project is as important as the platform used to develop. Do you think that your background as a programmer helps when developing in Hise? Personally, my background is more in sound and graphic design. My coding skills are low (but I'm working on it).

For FX plugins, I can confirm that plugins made with HISE works like a charm without any bugs.
Sometimes some mac users needs to clean their cache, but this is a shitty mac oriented bug.

If you can't write scripts then you will be limited in what you can achieve with HISE (or Kontakt).
