Question #1: Is here an easy way to choke chosen samples within a sample map?

Im uploading drum samples but i'd like to choose certain notes that will choke the other notes when played, but leave all the other notes in polyphonic mode.

Working application would be choking a closed and open hi-hat within a sample map without choking the other sounds within the same sample map.

Question #2: How do I create a button to switch between monophonic and polyphonic mode?

      Thanks in advance!

Write a script add all relevant note numbers to a "Choke group" array,

in the note on check if the incoming note is in your Choke Group Array - if so stop the last played note in your choke group group
