plugin build not asking for sample library location anymore?
-
@d-healey yes
USE_COPY_PROTECTION=1
USE_SCRIPT_COPY_PROTECTION=1
HISE_DEACTIVATE_OVERLAY=1
JUCE_USE_BETTER_MACHINE_IDS=1although i have the copy protection turned off now in the script
but maybe thats the issue? -
@jeffd deactivate overlay
-
@d-healey ha!
that worked.
but now its not receiving any midi input
no sound either when clicking on the graphic midi keyboard -
@jeffd How do you know it's not receiving midi?
-
@jeffd you know i just recently added a MidiChannelList
do i need to add a floatingTile set to MidiSources as well?
-
@jeffd That's only useful for a standalone app, if you're using it as a plugin then the input devices is controlled by the host.
-
@d-healey right,
i am clicking the keyboard with my mouse, and no sound and i dont see a midi note trigger in the logic window.
just testing this in logic on maci have an arp as well, and that isnt moving when i turn it on and click the keyboard
-
@jeffd What does the RAM usage for your plugin show?
-
@d-healey its changing as different sample maps and presets are loaded
-
@jeffd Well that at least implies samples are being loaded. Try it in Reaper
-
@d-healey ok
-
@jeffd hmmm
Asking for my activation file, which i thought i had turned off in my script. -
@jeffd I'm not familiar with the activation system so I won't be much help with that.
-
@d-healey yeah
let me see if thats the problem.
im thinking it must be.i have just been demoing it
-
@jeffd IM clueless on this,
im also seeing something else weird now.when choosing the instrument under the menu, it is showing 2 stereo options,
instead of a mono and a stereo -
@jeffd I thought the stereo/mono thing was only for effects
-
@d-healey im def not making a mono instrument.
but its giving me the choice for stereo or stereo.
instead of just only stereo.
i know that doesnt make any sense. -
@jeffd Looks like you unlocked a hidden feature :)
-
@d-healey haha..
well now that went away. not sure why
but im seeing this which is odd.
still not getting sound.
look at the top where the voice count is -
