      Hi All,

      I'm after some assistance, my battle with the artificial assistant has reached its limits.

      In short, I have a Knob which is currently triggering a Lottie animation. However I wish for it to serve two purposes; first we've succeeded, thanks to the @d-healey youtube channel tutorial.
      secondly to get it to trigger an effect, in this instance; saturation effect. The code snippet below functions.

      However when I use dial it jumps from 0% straight to 100% rather than incremental percentage steps. changing the math multiply doesn't seem to do me any favours.

      Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

        References like this should be const rather than local and stored within on init.

        Avoid magic numbers, right click on the module and select "Dump Parameter ID and Values" to find out what the constant is you need to use.

        Can you post a snippet of the issue?

          Thank you for your reply. I'll confess I'm relatively new with Hise, even more so with the scripting side of things. Trying the hands on learning approach.

          I've attached the HiseSnippet, hopefully done correctly. with regards to the Dumping Parameter I don't see that as an option, again more likely user error 😆

          I've also attached a GIF with whats happening, as you can see animation works and saturation works, however it goes 0 to 100 instantly rather than incrementally.

            Since the Saturation parameter has a range of 0 to 1 you can keep it simple and just use the knob's normalized value.

                @philip I find that GPT is useful for helping solve generic errors or guiding you to solutions, but not very good at writing code for you - the problem is it makes mistakes or it misunderstands what you want, so you need to have enough knowledge of the programming language to know how to make use of what it gives you.
