When you compile, or open the plugin for the first time with Audio Waveform's Index -1 mode, no sample is visible until you play a note. How can I display a wave when you open the plugin for the first time?

@bendurso I am not sure if it is the same thing, but there should be an example in the Snippet Browser, you can check it out.

        develop Branch / XCode 13.1
        macOS Monterey / M1 Max

@orange Mm I checked all examples and couldn't find it.

I'm talking about sampleIndex -1 of Audio Waveform. This mode shows the last sample you played. But when you open the plugin for the first time no sample appears.

@bendurso I think you'd have to hack something together with a timer that plays a note when it loads. Obviously you want the plugin muted at that point as well as other things potentially depending on your UI...

@DanH Thanks I was thinking about something like that.

I also considered adding a "Windows"-style startup sound when you open the plugin—could be fun, hehe.
