So I have a sample map in which two samples are mapped to a note, and when they play I get a click - near the end, but if I play each one separately - they play back fine - is this a known bug?

@Lindon and now I have a second sample map doing the same thing - with two samples playing at the same time..so its not the samples - this is looking like a bug... anyone confirm?

@Lindon Does it happen when the two samples are in different samplers, but otherwise everything else is the same?

no it doesnt - if I add another sampler and delete one set of samples from each - they play correctly...

Incidentally they play fine in the customers Kontakt implementation...

            Also to be clear:

In each case theres a multisample "layer" - each note getting its own sample, anda stretched single sample "layer" - one sample spread across the entire note range

They all have only one velocity zone.

@Lindon I'm guessing it's something to do with voice handling and envelopes. Have you tried different envelopes and poly/mono mode?

Sorry - I dont follow you - they are all in a single sampler - so what different envelopes?

                if you mean:

then yes I've tried these - as the click is in the middle of the [playback - its not any help at all..

                poly/mono mode???

                  so what different envelopes?

I mean try swapping out the simple envelope for the AHDSR or the table or a scriptnode envelope and see if they make a difference.

The envelope has a little button to switch between poly and mono.

@d-healey the sampler lives in a syntesizer group - that has an ahdsr envelope and a simple envelope(only one at a time) swapping these makes no difference.

Swapping the ploy/mono seems to make it worse.

Does it make a difference if it's not in a synth group?

@d-healey oh wow - yes it works fine outside the syntesizer group - but thats not an option for me...
