    Sample Start Random Modulator + Arpeggiator (Sampler)

      Hi! When using the sample start random modulator on the sampler along with the arpeggiator, it doesn't work as expected. I mean, the sample always starts from position 0.

      The random start feature of the audio loop player works ok with the arpeggiator:

      How could I get the sample result in the sampler?

        @bendurso I've never tried but maybe you could create a knob on the interface that controls the Start time of the sampler and randomly modulate the knob.

          Did you set the start mod amount? You need to choose how many samples are loaded into Ram because the sampler by default wants to stream from disk.

          Your start offset can only be as much as the start mod i. e. It's limited by the amount of preloaded samples.

            @aaronventure Oh thanks, I didn't know that SampleStartMod was for that. It just made sense 😆

              @bendurso yes, I don't know the exact etymology of the phrase, that's what it's called in Kontakt, so I assume that's the reason.
