Reverb impulse !?!?!
-
Hello everyone,
I am in the development phase of a hybrid reverb (convolution and digital). It sounds pretty good.
The problem is that I do not have the neccesary material to create my own impulse and buying a quality reverb costs several thousand dollars. This would increase the price of the plugin to such an extent that it would not be profitable. I really want to sell my cheap products to make them available to more people as possible.
So my question is, do you know impulse that is free of rights and that I could provide with ConVerb?
I do not really know where to go and I really want to respect copyright!
Thank you
I leave a photo of the plugin here, just to share!

@alexaudio10 I give you permission to use any of my impulse responses in this project. As long as you provide credit (put my name in the documentation somewhere).

Download https://www.voxengo.com/product/deconvolver/Make your own IR samples like in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iYjdMi2VW9A
You can use your favourite reverb fx plugins (and even using extra fx) sounds. In that way, you can get your reverb sound IR tone taste ;) :)

Wait a moment. A few algorithmic reverbs explicitely forbid capturing an IR of it and reselling it as it effectively steals their functionality (or the major part of it). If it‘s legally bulletproof is another question but I definitely would say it‘s a little bit shady.

BUT: said in the text =
"This library is completely FREE, to comply with the request from Bricasti that it is allowed to create impulse responses with the M7, as long as these IRs are not included in any commercial product."a small google search about free IR files (for free or commercial projects) ...
https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=130497 (again, verify the possibility to use it as commercial)http://willpirkle.com/Downloads/lpf2sir.wav.zip (from the rackafx convolver project. Free IR)

Christopher, that's exactly why I was asking myself questions. I had already heard that even if it was a similar machine, if we took impulse we violated the copyright, especially for Lexicon.
I have some lexicon machines in my setup and I have it is impulse, but I am concier that it is for my use and that I can not sell them.
If I had the time and the material to do it, the best solution would be to create myself.
@ D.healey Thank you for your proposal. I will download your impulse and as soon as I have a minute I test it all! I recognized your website, it is made from wordpress and you use woocommerce? Right?
By the way, just tell you that your security certificate on your website is free. Google is hunting for something. It is supposed to be free according to your host!

@staiif ... Thanks for the links, I examine all this!

I'll need to send you some links for the premium ones. I'll do that tomorrow. Yes wordpress + woocommerce

Yeah my certificate expired a few days ago and I forgot to pay the invoice. It's paid now so waiting for my webhost to update the certificate
