      Hey!

Got a pretty general question here, has anyone experimented with putting plugins on the App Store. To release plugins on mac, we need a Apple developer account, which supposedly supports putting things on the App Store, right? I’ve seen plugins that are in the App Store that install the au version and I’m wondering on if anyone has experience with it?

@Casmat If you are planning to release AUv3 Plugins for iPad then you'll need to distribute them trough the App Store but you can distribute Mac Plugins and Apps without it. The process isn't complicated, pretty much like notarizing... When you get a Dev account you will need to create a Profile, app ID, Certificates, etc, then you can log in with the Dev account in Xcode and when your app is ready to be distributed just select App Store Connect (you'll have to set some Tax and Banking Information before) Apple will charge a 30% for in app purchase unless the app is Free.
