Need advice from Blender 'user (knob gui)

Hi,
I design some knobs with blender software
I use a HDRi world and 4 Lights with shadow caustics...
I tried several times to adjust power of lights but I have some shadows around the knob.
Render crop region is still visible when I import filmstrip in Hise.thanks

@Sounddiy You can disable cast shadow from the lights that are causing this broad shadow.
So skip the HDRI and reduce the amount of lights or switch of shadow casting.
I dont think you can turn off shadow casting for an HDRI.
Now obviously you want the main shadow, I have found that using a sun for that is best as you
can easily control its sharpness. You can also see that the 4 lights/hdri are causing a weird shadow for the button.
I encounter this problem as well, if someone has neat solution that does not require workarounds?

I've been down this road many times...
First thing you can do is increase the render area. Make sure the front panel is set to shadow catcher, and does not generate any shadows of it's own.If the shape of the knob is not definable in the shadow, You can print the static shadow in your front panel image.
In some instances, you'll need to remove the texture/material from the front panel to keep it from generating it's own shadow.

thanks @lalalandsynth and @Dan-Korneff
I succeed to achieve what I want by removing cast shadow on the other lights.
I only put cast shadow on one light.
I will try with sun light@Dan-Korneff So you design all in blender ( Text, graphic lines etc..)?
"You can print the static shadow in your front panel image." yes :)
I did not think about it -
@Dan-Korneff If you increase the render area , wouldnt that make the mouse area for the knob too large ?
-
@lalalandsynth You can paint it in a larger panel but place a smaller knob on top
-
@lalalandsynth as what @ustk said. I paint the large image in a panel and control it with a smaller knob on top.

@Sounddiy link 2 knobs , one that you can see and then an invisible but active one that controls the graphics

@lalalandsynth oh I see. Thanks :)
