Code editor tabs not recalling?
-
If I create multiple tabs in the code editor they are not recalled on the next launch so I always end up with only one tab...
When I reset workspaces (View menu), I get the SNEX tab too, but as soon as I customise there's only one tab again...EDIT: In fact, even if I don't customise the tabs, the 3rd launch gets rid of the SNEX tab that was here after a reset...

Please catch up with the latest episode of Hydra Tabs :p
The latest attempt to solve the problem is to delete all tabs but one every time HISE closes. I don't like this solution so I modified the source to always leave a few tabs around. It's still not a good solution though, but better than the endless spawning tabs.

@d-healey Effectively, there's a world in between !
Yep very annoying when you're used to work with a lot of included files. When Hise crashes you have to recreate all the tabs

Nope, not going back there :)

Nope, not going back there :)
Yet :D
Out of curiosity, what's your workflow in HISE, do you just use a single editor tab all the time?
-
@Christoph-Hart Just have to get used to it. It's finally not more binding to double click the external files than selecting them in the tab's dropdown... Also it is very nice that a new tab opens when you click on a search entry
Don't worry, I already had my Christmas gift :)
beware though, the new year is coming along -

This:
a new tab opens when you click on a search entry
in combination with the special search commands (eg
f Midi
then select the file in the drop down) or Goto Definition - which is broken again at the moment :)
