Arpeggiator and Note Velocity
-
It seems the built-in arpeggiator completely ignores the incoming midi note's velocity. Is this the intended behavior?
What I'm looking to create is an arp that still has velocity differences per step, but is louder/softer depending on the received midi note's velocity. Maybe average the note's velocity with the step's velocity?
Thanks,
Mika -
@mikaT Would adding a velocity gain modulator give you what you need?

@mikaT @d-healey I had some wierd stuff going on with Arps and Velocity...

That was the first thing I thought of too. But I tried the velocity gain, it has no effect. Odd enough, when I press invert, everything gets muted, so I think there's some kind of bug here.
I'd be glad to investigate further if that would be helpful.

@mikaT So you want the arp to play the note numbers and the length as it is, but you want the pressed keys velocity instead of the arms, right?
-
@mikaT you can override the arp velocity, check in the ScriptProcessor1
