HISE lag

@Matt_SF Do you have include scripts in your project? With a blank HISE project I don't see this lag but with a project loaded with 20 or so includes I see it. I also notice general lag when clicking around in the script editor.
-
@d-healey on a black project : no lag.
In my current project I do have 'includes' files. If I launch it, without touching anything I can notice a small delay when clicking on the menu, BUT I couldn't be sure it's because of a bug or because of my computer : I have a bunch of LAF functions going on and my mac doesn't handle them well....
After launching the project, if I close the interface designer, on the first click the menus seem to react without delay...
I won't be at home before tomorrow afternoon so I won't be able to try it on a decent computer...

@d-healey @Christoph-Hart following up : I just tested the menus on my PC with multiple projects which include includes (!), and there's no lag, the menus react as quickly as usual...
-
@Matt_SF Are you on the latest build of HISE?
-
@d-healey I'm on build from Jul 21
-
@Matt_SF Yeah that should have the lag. I'm going to roll back through a few commits and see if I can pin down when the problem appeared.
-
I've pinned it down to this commit - 6dbe3e3d8b8f4ec294317595137c5aa06ee78075
The one that introduced the green outlines of doom ;)

Commenting out the contents of this function seems to help.

@d-healey in that case I would say that the focus drawer has drawn enough focus...
