      Hey Folks, Hope Y'all Doing Well

      Just Came With A Very Strange Issues, That The My Laptop Keyboard Acted With Delay In Preset Browser Of My FX Plugin,
      Also By Selecting Some Of The Presets, FX Plugin Freezed And At The End I Came Up With DAW Crash.

      I Investigate The Issue, With No Luck, Even Resaved All The Presets, But Faced With Same Problem Every Time.

      Until I Changed The Plugin Code, And Boom, All Above Issues, Sorted.

      Is There A Hidden Folder, Or Path That Windows Stores This Plugin Code?
      I Know On MAc, We Had To Clear Our Audio Unit Cache, But What's Up With Windows?
      And What This Plugin Code is Going To Do BTW?

      Thanks For Your Advice

        @Natan - your DAW (should) check the Plug-in code to make sure it doesnt load two copies of the same plug-in.

        The most likely (I think they all do this..) behaviour is to check each plug-in code to see if its already loaded - so this means that if you have two plugins (old and new) and old gets loaded first, then new will never load.

          @Lindon Thanks Lindon
          So There Is A Question Comes to My mind, And That Is:
          Is The Plugin Code Needs To Be Same In Both Mac & PC,
          So Users Can Open Up Their Project In Other OS's Like Mac Or Windows?

            @Natan Plugin code is per plugin not per OS, so yes it should be the same.

              Steinberg has a registration tool that can provide you with a code that has not yet been attributed. Well, of course, that doesn't prevent against non-registered plugin codes in the wild though… you can test your own code if you want.
              Does Steinberg fill the database with non registered plugin codes they find out there to prevent even more collisions? I don't know…
              At least if one of these days you have a collision issue with another brand, at least you have a good start to defending yourself if you're registered I imagine
