Whenever I load HISE into my vst rack, it starts throwing this error like crazy.

Master Chain:! Illegal call in audio thread detected: HeapBlock free

It pushes something like 10 errors/ sec. I have to open Preferences, enable Audio Thread Guard, save, then open Preferences and disable the Audio Thread Guard. The errors then stop.

This is super annoying having to do every time I open a project. I am using the latest Developer branch from @d-healey

@gorangrooves Don't use my fork, use Scriptnode, it's newer. But I don't know what is causing this issue, does it only happen with a particular project? I nearly always run HISE as standalone so it could be related to your VST host (have you tried other hosts?).

@d-healey I have not tried using a different host. I only use Cubase. I will try the Scriptnode branch. Are those fixes you implemented with hiding of "install samples" dialog available in the Scriptnode branch too?

@gorangrooves Yes, everything in my develop branch was moved to Scriptnode a while ago. I have some other additions in other branches that haven't been merged yet but they're not important for now.

FWIW I get the exact same behavior in my projects in the scriptnode version with the AU/VST version of the editor.

Disabling the audio guard is just shooting the messenger so I need to check why it fires here...
